Care Guide
Care of Fine Furs products
Fine Furs products are made from premium materials and designed to give you years of enjoyment. Proper care is the key to maintaining their appearance, structure and comfort when worn.
Below you will find basic recommendations on how to care for your coats, shearlings and leather models.
Natural properties of materials
Genuine leather and shearling are natural materials. Each piece is original and may show slight differences in color, structure or pattern. These natural features are not defects, but confirmation of the authenticity and quality of the material.
Routine care during wear
Avoid prolonged exposure to rain, snow and moisture.
If the product gets wet, let it dry freely at room temperature - never use a hair dryer, heater or direct sunlight.
Always let the coat air out on a hanger after wearing.
Do not carry heavy bags over your shoulder for long periods of time to avoid abrasion of the material.
Avoid contact with perfumes, hairsprays and cosmetics.
Cleaning
Do not wash the products in the washing machine or by hand.
Do not use common cleaning agents or wet wipes.
Minor dirt can be gently removed with a dry soft cloth or a brush designed for leather and fur.
For deep cleaning, we recommend only a specialized dry cleaner with experience with leather and shearling.
Off-season storage
Store the product on a wide hanger to maintain its shape.
Store in a dry, dark and well-ventilated place.
Do not use plastic packaging - a protective fabric packaging is ideal.
Provide enough space to prevent deformation or wrinkling.
Protect from moths and prolonged moisture.
Long-term care
We recommend regular professional inspection and cleaning according to the intensity of wear.
In case of minor damage (seams, buttons, zippers), repair as soon as possible to prevent further deterioration.
With proper care, quality materials will last you for many years and will acquire a natural patina over time.
Individual recommendations
